Don't
just take our word for it. Hear from the mouths
of fully satisfied client's how Great we are.
"It’s
one thing to expect something. It’s another
to in fact experience it."
On Saturday, August 7, 2010, the Saint Lucia
Golf and Country Club hosted the evening wedding
reception for Tessa Thorpe and Curtis George,
at the Clubhouse, in Cap Estate.
We believe that excellence whenever accomplished
and high standards whenever lived up to, ought
to be recognized by those who had the pleasure
of the experience. And so, this communiqué
is a satisfied family’s way of expressing our
heartfelt thanks for the excellent service provided
by the Saint Lucia Golf and Country Club, re
the abovementioned event.
Every detail went according to plan reflecting
excellence of coordination. The hors d’oeuvres
were delectable, served hot, immediately as
prepared. The cocktails were served with such
a positive and welcoming attitude. The bar and
buffet staff gave service with a [genuine] smile.
The Supervisor, Mr Alexander, liaised with us
at intervals to ensure things kept on course
and according to satisfaction. Dinner was absolutely
sumptuous. The cordless microphone worked without
a hitch. The washrooms were immaculate. Every
promise was delivered on point.
To this date, guests who meet us are still singing
the praises of how smoothly the reception flowed,
and we must thank the Club for this, in large
part.
We take the time also to thank you for the various
concessions granted to us, which made it easier
to meet our budget, when contingencies threatened
to derail our plans. Every interaction with
your company exuded professionalism, co-operation,
a willingness listen and to go the extra mile.
We wish therefore to put on record the satisfaction
of the bridal couple and the family and friends
of Curtis and Tessa George, for the event-free
hosting of our wedding reception on August 7,
2010. Special thanks to you, Mr Samuel (though
it was business as usual you never made it feel
that way), to Ms Marslin Alphonse (what a refreshingly
reassuring personality), and Mr Clancy Alexander
(such focus on precision).
To the Management and Staff of the Saint Lucia
Golf and Country Club, we say, “Take a bow!”
Indeed, what we experienced was a veritable
manifestation of what is understood to be your
uncompromisingly distinguished standard.
Fantastic!

"Really,
well done!!"
It was great to be at the 2010 ECGA Championship
in St. Lucia. Please accept my congratulations
and appreciation for your leadership. Under
very difficult circumstances your team made
the best possible efforts to make the entire
two days of golf complete. It was not to be
but your effeorts were impressive.
The course was in great shape
and without the rain would have played like
the championship tract that it is. Really, well
done!! Thanks for your kind and friendly spirit
toward many of us individually. It was great
to meet all of you.

"Generosity
and Thoughtfulness"
The Ministry of Education and
Culture acknowledges with thanks your donation
of $1,170.00 to assist the students of Dennery
who suffered loss during the flooding of October
6th, 2010. Severe damages were done to the school
buildings including roofs, windows, equipment,
furniture, supplies, instructional material,
electrical appliances, water tanks, fencing
playgrounds and access roads.
We are therefore appreciative
of your kind monetary gesture to our students.
Please be assured that your donation has impacted
the lives of many and in so doing has assisted
in bringing the schools operations back to normalcy.
The Ministry also welcomes
your invitation for a group of students to visit
the Golf Course and will be liasing with you
to ensure that this visit materializes.
Once again we thank your organization
immensely for its generosity and thoughtfulness.
Sincerely,
Dr. Rufina Frederick
Permanent Secretary,
Ministry of Education and Culture

"The golf course was excellent and your hospitality was super!"
I would just like to say how very much my friend and I enjoyed playing your golf course on the 29th December last year. Your bus driver picked us up as requested from the cruise port in Castries and brought us to the golf course. He then very kindly had our golf bags taken down and put on the buggy in readiness for our round. After the round we were taken back to the port again by your driver to re-board our ship.
The golf course was excellent and your hospitality was super! The next day we played Barbados Golf Club. This was the only excursion that our cruise company Regent organised for us. We each paid $149 and quite frankly the experience was awful. Horrible golf course and poor service. When I got back on board I wrote a two page report and gave it to the Destination Services desk on the ship pointing out how bad Barbados Golf Club was and how good St Lucia Golf Club is. We were refunded $74.50 each, half of our green fee. The point of this story is to tell you that I have recommended to Regent that they drop Barbados Golf Club as a golf tour destination and change instead to St Lucia Golf Club. I really hope that Regent change to you because you deserve the business for the courteous way in which you looked after us. If you treat all your guests like that, you should have no problem in securing the business.
Best wishes to you for a busy and successful year.
